I've had a Mighty Mind set by the same company and seriously considered the Imaginets set.

After my experience with Mighty Mind, I rejected the Imaginets set.

BOTH have magnets that you attach on to the pieces. (And on the Mighty Mind sets they came off). I could have glued them all back. But decided it wasn't working that well for me anyway.

So your DC didn't like it much?

It was played with interchangeably with the Melissa and Doug pattern blocks. The pieces did not feel as substantial in the hand because the magnets were separately attached.

Hmmm, I just ordered the Imaginets for DS2 when the price dropped down to $21 two days ago. They get the best reviews, which is why I went with them. I didn't know that you have to attach the magnets yourself though.

We have the Imaginets and I didn't attach the magnets myself.
