I got my older DD a kindle Fire and lots of amazon lightening deals. Drawing books, a typing program, animation creation program, vinylmations (she collects from WDW), and clothes

Have you looked at the Zentangle books? I hoping my daughter likes the one I picked out for her.

I think she will be most excited with her purple Uggs.

Older DD is 11.5.

Last year at 10, her big gift was a basic Kindle.

This year her big gift was we activated the cell service on a phone she had been using as a Touch.

I think we are also going to her an iHome style dock/speaker system for her room.

She loves Dr. Who, so we got her a Dr. Who wall poster.

Other gifts (we do both Hanukkah and Santa, even though it is "Santa" to her now) :

Wii Family Game Night 3 (an older game, but new to us :) )
Swish (a ThinkFun card game sort of like a combo of Set and Blink)
Ravensburger puzzle
