Short bread recipe?

Anyone have a tried and true short bread recipe? DD1 got some cookie cutters for Hannukah and she is dying to try them out. According to the reviews of the cutters, short bread is the best cookie for them but I've never made short bread cookies (frankly I'm not much of a baker). Any recommendations? Any tips?

Sorry i didn't get to reply earlier than today but I made this for a cookie swap this week and everyone loved it! Plus it's SO easy!

Shortbread
1 pound butter
1 ½ cups sugar
4 ¼ cups flour

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Mix with electric mixer, slightly softened butter and sugar. Gradually add in flour. Dough will be stiff and crumbly. Press into ungreased 9x13 inch pan (I do line the pan with parchment paper). Prick top all over with fork. Bake at 325 degrees F for 35-40 minutes, til golden. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cut into squares while warm.
