Guys. I had to link these. I found these roaming Uncommon Goods today. I about fell over laughing so hard. They're freaking hysterical. I think they're adorable, I really do. I don't have any use for them, myself, but for the right person, these are an awesome thing. I've never seen anything like it, and that's why I love this catalogue. Know an OB/GYN you wanna gift? HELLO?! OMG, people, OMG. Flove.

Well, I'm a nurse so I love that stuff. My girls got me a "lungs" pin recently. I'm always really tempted to buy friends and family a stuffed version of whatever bug they've suffered from recently. But they don't all share the same sense of humor so I've managed to resist.

Put this on your Xmas list. I've always wanted to get these for someone, but I don't have the right person yet. Seriously, I die. HAHAHA, no pun intended!

They sell those at a local independent toy store near me. I've put the H1N1 into my cart for DD1 a few times. I really should just get it for her. Apparently, people don't want to be reminded of the time they had Cdiff. I don't know.

Hmm, I think I’ve found the perfect gift for my super uptight British MIL for next year - a couple of plushie testicles. I’ll tell her they are throw pillows.

Lol, this is a timely post. My dorkie would actually love these as chew toys. He just got neutered yesterday at the vet's. Those are cute. I think I've seen other versions (organs) elsewhere.

Pinning, pinning, pinning! And finishing up my shopping for my uncle (beer molecule, he is a home brewer!) and feeling :( that they have malaria but not dengue which is rampant where I live.

My DH bought several of these as gifts this year to send to friends from his surgical residency. They are completely hilarious and of course since they are all surgeons, they will get a kick out of them. The testicle one really cracks me up.

ETA: Of course, he also got a the intestines and the colon or something like that as a stocking stuffer for the girls so I don't know what that says about their sense of humor, lol. They definitely get it from their dad.

ETAA: He ordered all of his from iheartguts.com

I was thinking the testicle ones were perfect for that. Trying to figure out how inappropriate it is to give it to all the men I know that get it done that are NOT my DH. He had his done 2 years ago, but these are just so fun!

I love you guys.

Last fall, DH was being tested for tuberculosis. He didn't have it but I found 4 tuberculosis plushies that come in a petrie dish so got that for his stocking. He thought it was hysterical. We keep them in the family room and every so often start a TB fight :)

I hadn't seen the organs before, I'm making a list of who to give them to next year

I just ordered my dad the intestine (with bonus appendix :) )
He had a perforated diverticulum this fall and has a colostomy while everything heals. Figured he can take it to the hospital when he goes for his reversal after the holidays. His surgeon is a good friend of his and will get quite the kick out of it...lol

We have had several friends that have had mastectomies or (I can't think of the uterus removal one) and my sister has bought these! Love them.

So bummed that I'm slammed at work and don't see these posts promptly. We need a uterus 'cuz who doesn't? And I'm thinking of getting a few sets of plushie testicles to give to an ex or two. Symbolism is everything . . . here are your 'nads. You may move on.
