Connecting flight ticket question

Someone mentioned to me that there's a site that sells connecting flights (one part of the trip) for cheap. He didn't know more info on it, just that he's heard about it- anyone can help on this?

I googled it in all sorts of ways and came up with nothing...

I want a cheap ticket for one adult and no luggage. It's a short trip and I'm trying to get it as inexpensive as possible!

Has anyone heard of a site like this?

I don't know of such a site, but if it exists, I'd bet the people on the flyertalk boards would know about it so you might look there.
