Keep or toss an Eye Round Roast that I froze on 9/17/11? I just found it at the very bottom of my freezer drawer.

Keep. My understanding is its safe but he flavor may not be as great. I would serve w gravy or some type of sauce

How often do you open the freezer? Does it generally stay very cold? I think the flavor might be bad after so long, but I'm not sure about safety.

Several times a day, but it was at the very bottom of the drawer so it would stay very cold. My freezer has a temperature monitor and it stays at 0.

I agree with this. I am sure it is safe, just not sure how perfectly delicious it will be.

I'd keep it, but I'd probably use it in a stew or something where it's not by itself - flavor probably isn't as good.

Keep it unless it looks freezer brunt. I have hamburger frozen for 2 yrs in my freezer I've used and been fine.
