DS1 is playing Jolly Old St. Nicholas in school tomorrow. He needs his music and DH (suzuki parent) lost it.:banghead:

Can anyone help out? I don't play or understand violin, I'm at a total loss.

This is how he says that it starts. Can anyone help? Pretty pretty please?

Maybe it's enough to go on? The pattern is the same as you started.

WTF it's doing it again! Sorry, I don't know why it keeps reverting to lowercase. Anyway, I hope this doesn't confuse your DS!

Hurray! Thank you! DS1 says a HUGE thank you too!

I think the first link is right, but I don't know how to translate it into something that he understands. I read music (piano) but don't play violin. DS doesn't really read music yet.

The second one made zero sense to me but perfect sense to him. He literally looked at it, then turned around and played the song without continuing to look at it. He just needed to *see* it to cross that hurdle.
