I haven't been on OTL in a few years. I recently tried to get a prescription filled, but apparently my insurance no longer covers this brand and there is not a generic available. Are there any other brands similar to this one? There seem to be many choices available, and it's sort of overwhelming trying to pick one. I've heard bad things about some pills, but I don't remember which ones...

I don't know the answer but you might want to get your insurance's 2013 drug coverage list to see what your choices even are. I got a letter from UHC stating that for 2013 the pill I am on will change Tiers and so the price will change. (Go from free to having to pay for...) So I need to find one that is in the same tier, ie free.

I would call your prescriber.
