Tis part b!tch part question. We're hosting Christmas. My BF is out shopping as we speak, he's at the mall. He decides we need to get his father something he wants to get a shirt or sweater but doesn't know his size. He called his father and asks, his father says he has a 17.5" neck. My BF leaves the mall and tells me to pick something up for him later. Umm, no! I have a million things to do and that wasn't on my list. Of course I'm going to end up doing it now because his father will expect something. I ask what's his sweater size, he starts screaming 17.5". Well is that XL, XXL? He has no clue and tells me to ask the lady. What lady? Nice sexist comment. Anyway, does anyone know if his sweater size would be an XL or XXL based on this neck size?

Maybe this will help Size conversion (http://www.nationalworkwear.com/size_conversion_chart.php)

DH wears a 15.5 neck size in a dress shirt and typically wears a large in a sweater.

XL should do it
My oldest wears a 17 neck and a Large is good on him.

XL, when my DH was a 17.5 neck (before he lost weight) he was an XL.

agreeing with XL. DH is a medium and a 15.5

Thanks all. I got an XL. I brought it home and my BF doesn't like it. He says he wanted a thick sweater because it's winter and cold out. Really? Well then I guess he better go out and buy him one tmrw because I'm done.
