Dd "heard" about nutella, and really wanted to try it. So I bought some, but I have to say I have never "got" nutella. What do you put it on/how do you eat it?

I've only ever eaten it on baguette. SO good.

A friend recently told me of making faux s'mores. She puts Nutella on a graham cracker, then a marshmallow on top and microwaves it for a few seconds, and voila! Nutella s'mores!

I put it between two waffles for breakfast in the morning.

What "not" to put Nutella on?

Ritz, bananas, pineapple, bagel, toast, in combination with peanut butter, for baking ....

Toast, with a nice cup of milk or black coffee.

I've also been known to stir it into milk when I'm desperate to get DS2 to take his Miralax. Then I've frozen the mixture in my Zoku to make Nutella popsicles.

On toast or frozen waffles...one of my kids' favorite breakfasts. I serve yogurt and fruit alongside so I don't feel too guilty about basically serving them dessert for breakfast!

DD loves to dip mini Nilla wafers in Nutella. My favorite is to buy those so bad for you crescent rolls in a can. Spread a little Nutella on the wide end, then roll up and bake - yummy!

My tongue.

This morning, I think my 3yo was trying to "scoop" it out with tweezers while I was in bed. I'm not really sure why he picked those instead of a spoon...

They're really good in the middle of a crepe.

They're also good in the middle of a jaffle if you have a sandwich maker.

Baguette, toast or one of my faves - crepes (at a restaurant, I don't usually make them at home).

Toast, waffles, graham crackers, animal crackers, toasted ciabatta rolls from costco (a favorite around here). Also like to use it sometimes to bake banana bread.

:yeahthat: SO glad I'm not the only one!

For the kids, I put it on their crusts after they have an egg sandwich for breakfast. They're happy and its a controlled portion.

The other day dh gave dd2 (3) a nutella sandwich for lunch. When I freaked, he said "she didnt want peanut butter" ... but that should probably be a bp

DD just had it on a rice cake today.

A spoon!

Came to post the same thing. That stuff is amazing straight out of the jar. Goes well on crackers, toast, English muffins, on bananas, with strawberries...but cutting out the middle man and digging in with a spoon is a no-fail method to sweet satisfaction.

And now I want some.

There must be something about Mollys and nutella on a spoon! ;)

Oh yum! We are going to try ours tomorrow. I will probably like the spoon option best myself. The zoku idea sounds amazing, if only I had a zoku!

You can dip pretzels in it for a dessert that is savory and sweet. You can also put it on a croissant for a very french treat.

On a crepe with banana and almonds. Mmmmmm..... :)

Also on toast - it's a traditional breakfast in France.

I love to toast Costco croissants fill them with nutella. I don't even want to think about the calories but good god it is worth whatever it is.

Yummy, yummy!

Okay for those of you who mention banana bread, it was actually on my to-do list to make choc. chip banana bread next week. I did some searching and it looks like the way to make nutella banana bread is that you mix some nutella in with some of the batter and alternate with regular batter. Is that what you do? Is this better than just regular choc.chip banana bread?

I make almond butter and Nutella sandwiches for my son. He likes them! Also good just on toast.
