Title says it all. If I sterilize bottles and change to new nipples is it still a bad idea to pass down feeding bottles instead of buying new? Just wondering if the breast pump dont hand me down rule applies to feeding bottles too...

Depends, I guess. I would personally not use bottles of an age where BPA might be in them. If you know their history and age, I would not have a problem with it.

I am reusing the playtex nursers I used with DS. I know it is a bit different that a normal bottle. I did replace all the nipples.

Mine are Dr. Brown's bottles from DS1, BPA free. Wondering if sterilizing and using new nipples would help when we start daycare...

I used Dr. Brown bottles from 2010 which were BPA free for DS. I used most new nipples but 1-2 were not new. It didn't matter for us eventually as he refused to bottle feed.
