I'm not that impressed. Why does she shop at Chico's? http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/html/item/id/215879/uid/821

DD and I looked through it this morning. I was very surprised DD didn't say she wanted her! She loves art and horses, so I was sure she would. but, we have 364 more days for her to change her mind :).

Did you see how tall the balloon is? Taller than DD!

Lol! She's about 50 years away from shopping at Chico's.

Maybe that coat came from Cold Water Creek.

I think the coat looks like something Suze Orman would wear.

Doll and Grandma matching dress day?

She is cute but that sweater is hideous. Dd wants her since she thinks she would be good friends with Nicki.

Oh, come on, she's cute! I want her! I've been trying to convince DD to get an AG doll with reddish or brown hair, blue or green eyes and freckles. She's perfect to me :). I really don't care about the accessories and the clothes. Just less to buy. We don't really buy the accessories anyway and DD exchanges clothes on her dolls. She just got a My AG doll for Christmas and she had on McKenna's clothes. We also buy off brand clothes and make our own jewelry. I'm just annoyed that they increased the price of the dolls again! I just returned a Christmas gift from DH that didn't work out and I told him I was going to use the money to buy Saige.

DD2 bought Saige today at the AG store, as our visit to the AG store at The Grove was a big surprise for DDs during our vacation in So Cal. The AG store was all about Saige today, and the hype really influenced the customers. Girls were eating it all up and buying Saige, DD2 included. :wink2:

Saige comes with pierced ears, which I thought was a nice bonus. I think she is pretty!

She is really cute and definitely has some Western flair. ;) I really dislike the name spelling though, she should just be Sage, no embellishments.

I dig her clothes, they are very on-trend, not that it matters to young girls.

I just can't get past the goofy AG teeth! Sorry, I do realize that all kids go through that awkward gangly phase where their teeth are ten times bigger than their faces (my 12yo is still there, though it doesn't seem as bad as it was a few years ago), but I feel like girls should be given the choice between that and a demure, closed-mouth smile. :)

LoL! I can actually see Grandmas going for it!

I think she's sweet, although the sweater is uglaaay.

I am glad we visited the Grove last week before Saige hit!

I agree about the spelling. Why with the extra i? Glad I am not tempted. That new Caroline doll looks so sweet but I think we are maxed out on dolls for one daughter.

DD already has six dolls, but her two passions are art and horses....I think maybe a seventh is in order, DD has been looking at the magazine for two days constantly.

I don't think she will be the hit that McKenna was, and the accessories probably won't be as popular. We have plenty of non AG horses, maybe both grandparents will go in and get it for her for her birthday in June.

The spelling doesn't bother me.

I think she's sweet and have been considering her as a "buy now and put it away" kind of thing for DD because she so admired our niece's McKenna doll, but DD will only be 3 yrs old this year!

However, I did tell DD if she uses the potty all by herself, for both poo & pee, Mama would buy her a "dolly like (niece's)" ... however, she's more than I was intending on spending on a reward like that.

.

Glad I am not the only one whose DD has a lot of dolls. DD has seven (all historical).

I like her style too. I'm sure they used Sundance Catalog for inspiriation:

But I had to laugh when I ran across this on Zappos. Saige looks much better in this look:
