After the holiday splurging, looking for some guilt-free appetizers for an upcoming evening GTG. Hoping guests will be able to eat as much as they like without worrying about more calories! Thinking chocolate drizzled fruit for something sweet. Will have usual veggie tray, apples and grapes. Other ideas?

These were a recent hit at a party we went to:
Caramel apple grapes

They were done with just a small amount of caramel on the bottom.

Hummus with veggies or pita bread/chips is always good.

Another one we like (if you have time to do it - not labor intensive, just takes some time to set up) is endive (or Belgian endive some stores call it different but it's usually sold in 3 packs and can be white with green or white with red at the edges) that you smear some Boursin cheese (we use the herb one) down the middle of the leaf.

Chips & salsa is also good and easy.

Cheese & cracker/bread plate is another good one.

roast peppers and garlic in oven, puree with a bit of olive oil. Serve with crudites or homemade pita chips.

Chex mix
Pumpkin cream cheese dip and apple slices (or cinnamon chips)
Popcorn (if you want to get crazy add parm or something 'fun' to it) - always end up with an empty bowl!
Caprese sticks - moz+basil leaf + cherry tomatoe on a stick with balsamic drizzled over it

Lightly salt some sliced cucumbers and let stand on some paper towels so the liquid drains off of them. Top with a little softened cream cheese, dill or chives, capers if you want, smoked salmon.

That crustless feta and spinach pie looks divine! Oh, I am totally going to make that!
