DD is 7 and 55 pounds. I was thinking of buying her some snowshoes. Was looking at a pair of gently used 19" LL Bean Winter Walkers.
Now at the same time I have a almost 5 yo DS. he is about 41 pounds. He would like snowshoes too. I am thinking of another pair of 19" LL Bean ones. They start at 50 pounds but I've read that you should add 10 pounds to the person's weight to account for boots/outerwear. The 16" snowshoes go up to 60 pounds I believe. So since he is somewhat in between sizes I think its probably best to go with the larger size so they last longer?
