I was just thinking of her a few weeks ago when someone posted the thread about past Epic threads. I wanted to post about Elilly's post where she asked about ideas to make keepsakes/special memories for her kids. I thought that was an epic thread, but thought twice about mentioning it in the Epic threads list since I didn't want to be a debbie downer. But I do think it qualifies as an "epic thread" and my heart goes out to Elilly and her family.

I often think of her, too. Especially during that one episode of Parenthood a few weeks ago. :(

So kind of you to start this thread. It's amazing how she touched so many of us. Also keeping her family in my thoughts. At that time, I had no idea I would be mourning the sudden loss of my sibling. It has been a sad, painful holiday season for my family. We are at a loss for words and I empathize with what her family must be facing. Life is so precious and each moment with our loved ones to be treasured. Even when the kids have you at wits' end, I'm so grateful to be there.

I think of her often. I think of her when my kids are driving me crazy and I still try to cherish those moments. I snuggle with them and hug them more because of her. I also feel much more vulnerable as a mom - especially in the face of uncertainty. I wish her family would know how much she has changed many of us as that will also be part of her legacy.

I am so sorry for your loss div.

I have not been a regular on the board for the past year and was unaware of what happened to Elilly. She sounds like an amazing mom and such an inspiration. After seeing this thread, I tried to find old posts but was only able to piece together a bit of info. I am not sure if some are missing.

I do not mean any disrespect at all, but was curious as to what happened.

I think of Elilly too. She touched all of us and made us all think about what matters. I wish we had an update or a way to let her family know that she touched us all.
