Biotin: how large a daily dose are you taking?

I'm curious, I've started and I'm a little concerned about taking the max of 5,000, but I'm curious what everyone else is doing?

Did you start smaller (1,000) and gradually build your daily dose?

5000 here...been on it just over a year with noticeable results in my nails.

I take the Whole Foods one, started taking about 4-5 weeks ago, not sure about the strength will check tonight. I can see noticeably thicker eyebrows which is a good thing for me since mine were sparse.
