My 8 Y.O. is being teased by some classmates. There are many reasons why I want DC to deal with this, if possible, without getting the school too involved. The situation as it stands now, is very minor and a great time to learn some strategies for the future.

However, since I'm not sure what the research says to do in these situations, I asked multiple people at the school for book recommendations and they have come up with NOTHING. SO, does anyone have any recommendations for books on how to handle teasing/bullying in grades 3-5? It's all verbal, but making DC very hurt and angry.

I am so disappointed with the school at the moment. My expectation had been a preprinted list with a few books flagged for this particular situation. They seem flustered and unable to figure out what to tell me...

Thank you so much for the reply. These books look great and I'm definitely going to check them out.

I'm hoping, however, to find books geared towards the 8 to 12 y.o. age range for DC to look at and try to get some strategies from. Unfortunately, DC won't listen to my advice...
