I don't know how much you want to spend but the cheapest I have found is for around $6 or $7 each. I looked up Balaclava masks ... they use them for paintball and airsoft etc.

here is one for $3

Thanks for your post calling them balaklavas. I didn't know that was what they are called. I was able to find these for $3.86 after a coupon code.

Just in case you didn't realize ... those are fleece so really great for winter time .... when is the party? If you think it will be warm you might want to try to find some cotton ones.

Thanks. Yes, I know they will be pretty warm, but should work well for outside games. Are you familiar with ninja costumes? If so, would you tie headbands over these?

I don't know that you need a headband with the hoods ... if you want to be "traditional" it would be only the hood/face mask.

If you think there might be kids who won't want to wear the hood/mask then you could get headbands for them. Are you thinking Karate kid kinda headband? http://www.amazon.com/Headband-Ninja-with-Mask/dp/B0000C6HHR/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1358197785&sr=8-9&keywords=karate+headbands

or just a black headband?

These Ninja-bread man cookie cutters are awesome!

Do you or anyone you know sew? We made them for my nephews party and it was super easy. Basically a tube out of a white stretchy fabric.
