Our Costco turkey seems to have a use by date of 1/12, so SATURDAY...and today is TUESDAY 1/15. I finally grabbed some ingredients to go with it and try out the yummy recipes you all shared. Toss, right?

Anyone? Toss?

I would toss. That's past my comfort level with meat...especially ground meat.

Another vote for toss. I am super picky about expiration dates and meat.

I am assuming it was not frozen? And it definitely is a "use by," not a "sell by"?
If so, then I agree with Toss. And I'm pretty liberal about using foods past their dates.

Toss, I don't mess with poultry. That stuff goes bad quickly.

Ok, thanks all! It was "use or freeze by" so it's on the way down to the dumpster as soon as DH finishes putting the DC to bed. I froze 2 packages immediately, so I can still make the recipes you all shared if it thaws while the ricotta, etc., is still fresh.
