Just bought my first pair of Frye's -

Everywhere fits well except my heel is really slipping/lifting a lot when I walk. Is that normal? Does it mean the boot is too small/big?

I am normally a size 9 in shoes but bought the boot in size 8.5 based on the reviews that it runs a little big.

Some Frye boots fit like boots (i.e. have heel slippage) and some fit like shoes (no heel slippage). I have a pair of the Harness boots and they have heel slippage but it still fits. The pair you linked to look like they should fit like a boot IMO. I would wear them around the house for a few days if you are concerned just to make sure they are comfortable. Cute boots btw!

Thanks LMPC. I can't figure out if the amount of foot slippage is normal.

Would love more feedback - thanks!

Mine were the same way and the more I've worn them the better it got. The boots still slip a little but it doesn't bother me at all
