I absolute love the Zuppa Toscana soup from Olive Garden, and there is kale in that soup.
Here's a copy cat recipe that I feel is pretty spot on!

:bag Um, we just turn it into kale chips. DD declares kale her favorite vegetable, but she only eats it in chip form, so I'm not sure if that counts!

I love this salad, and so has most everyone I've served it to - http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2011/09/massaged-kale-and-craisin-salad-with-feta-cheese.html

I make a kale, sausage, and white bean soup that our whole family loves.

*3/4 lb or so dried white beans, soaked & boiled OR two cans white beans, rinsed & drained (cannellini, Great Northern, etc)
*1 onion, chopped & sauteed until translucent in olive oil
*1 lb kale, finely chopped & w/ribs removed. I usually just buy a bag of pre-chopped kale and toss it in, but if you want to chop it yourself, small pieces are good
*1 lb spicy sausage (Spicy Italian, chorizo, andouille, etc), either browned in the pan with the onion, or if pre-cooked just diced
*water to cover
*1 teaspoon paprika (either regular or smoked is nice if you like the smokey taste)
*juice of 1 lemon
*salt to taste

Mix everything except the lemon juice together in a big pot and bring to a simmer. I like to sautee the onion & the sausage in the bottom of the pot, then add everything else. Add water so the kale is just covered, but not swimming. Cook until the kale is cooked through, about 20 minutes or so. Once the kale is cooked, add the lemon juice and salt to taste. I usually add at least a teaspoon or so of salt.

This makes enough for 6 people or so.

My two favorites:

I usually substitute apple for the squash in the first recipe.

I add kale or chard to my homemade chix noodle soup, cut fairly small.

Also love kale chips and I do an uncooked kale salad where I add some lemon juice and olive oil season and sometime add mango -- the trick on the salad is to "massage" it with a little oil and kosher or seal salt to soften it up.

I just do kale chips as well since I love them that way and so does DS2.

I just tear the kale up into small pieces (remove the thick stem), toss them with some olive oil and garlic, spread them out on a baking tray, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese (and/or nutritional yeast), then bake them for about 20 minutes on 425 degrees till they are crispy. I stir them once during that time.

Sooo good! I can eat an entire bunch of kale in one sitting this way.

this is my favorite way too -- but instead of mango I toss in dried blueberries, slivered almonds and parm. And squeeze it for a couple of minutes - like your're kneading bread!

I like to use it in place of spinach in many places. I like to saute it with some olive oil and you can spritz some lime juice on it and salt/pepper or a little red pepper flakes. It is also good if you saute it olive oil then add some orange juice and raisins.

This is a recipe I love to use in place of mashed potatoes that has kale in it:

The recipe calls for heavy cream, but I only use that for holidays. You can do it with milk or chicken broth. If I use milk or broth I use slightly less volume. It comes out a beautiful green color and the kids love it.

These are the ways we use it the most often too.

I don't do noodles but I like mini meatballs in soup with lots of greens, including kale. But yeah, I like it in most soups. We do kale chips pretty often, raw kale salad, and the "massaged" version of kale salad too (although my kids aren't as wild about that one and just prefer EVOO, a tiny bit of ACV, and sea salt on theirs, and prefer it non massaged, LOL. I like the massaged version more than they do.

I love kale, but I usually hoard it all for my smoothies.
