Are there any special promotions going on in the park at Disneyland?

We went back in 2007 and they were having some birthday/ anniversary type celebration. As part of it, they were giving out prizes at the park. We got the greatest prize- a dream fast pass that allowed us to use Fastpass lines without needing to go through the hassle of collecting Fastpasses or using at certain times. Are there any cool things like that going on? If so, any tips on how to get lucky?

Nothing major like that is going on, but they are having "themes" at certain points--like a lost loves week (Daisy will be in the parks!, and they brought back the Golden Horseshoe Review, etc). Oh, what I'd give for a dream fast pass, lol!

It was truly the greatest thing in the world. And, it got us in to CAA; which we didn't buy passes for.

You are probably talking about the "Year of a Million Dreams"- that Dream Fastpass prize sounds awesome!!
