I *know* this is not a bargain. I know that this is an extremely overpriced piece of plastic but I have been watching it for months and this is the lowest I have ever seen. There is also one for Prime shipping but it's $59

Do you live near a Toys R' Us? They recently started carrying the Octonauts stuff. The Octopod is only $34,99 there.

Thanks for posting about TRU. Octonauts announced on their FB page that they would be selling merchandise here "this Spring" but I didn't realize that it had already arrived. I will be passing by to pick up a few GUPS for the Easter baskets to go with our Octopod (purchased from the UK for $62 last Easter). Has anybody actually seen them in stores yet?

Thanks so much for the posting. I was at my local TRU today and they were fully stocked with the Octopod and all 4 Gups. This made my son's birthday. I'm headed back soon for easter basket goodies. The best part is that the Gups are water safe.
