My kids aren't fond of it but we love it toasted!!!

It has rocked our world. I love it with some cheese or just butter.

Also in the vein of healthy discoveries. My kids love this iced herbal tea with stevia and some apple cider vinegar snuck in. Sugar free! They are the toughest kids to convert to eating healthy but they say we need six bottles of this stuff at a time.

WOW this bread is fantastic toasted! It turns out sooo delicious. Instead of oats (I am grain-free) I used 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut and 1 cup of almond flour. Thanks for posting about this, I have been looking for a decent bread!!

I am so glad you like it! I can't stop making it. I will have to try it your way since I try to be grain free.

where did you get the psyllium husks?

I bought mine at Mrs. Green's Natural Food store but I think even pharmacies sell it. You can use either psyllium husks or psyllium powder; you just use different amounts.

I bought mine at Wegmans. It was in the fiber/metamucil section. They also had it in the organic section.

So thus is just the psyllium that you drink to increase fiber?

I just used the glass loaf that I had. I greased it with coconut oil. Then you throw all the ingredients in that pan and mix.

I used parchment paper (which i greased but not sure it was necessary) in a regular pan. When it is time to bake directly on the oven rack, it was very easy to flip the loaf. (Oh and I mixed everything in a separate bowl).
