The longest sleepsack that I have found is the MerinoKids sleepsack. DC is about to outgrow it in length. Does anyone know of a longer sleepsack? I need something that doesn't have the zipper up the front too since DC knows how to unzip it. Thanks!

GroBags are long but I'm not familiar with the other kind to know if they're longer. My tall almost 2.5 can still easily use her grobag. The zipper is on the side.

I am not familiar with the merinokids brand but we have some of the toddler halo ones and they are huge. We have the 2t-3t size and ds is 3.5 with still plenty of room. They have a 4t-5t size and I imagine I could probably wear it!
If you are worried about dc unzipping it just put it on backwards.

May I ask how tall your DD is? The MerinoKids bag is 34"L.

ETA: Also -What size grobag do you have?

Grobags are quite long but when DS was outgrowing even that one and still needed/used one we had someone on etsy make one in a bigger size.

I'll think about this option - would I put it on backwards so zipper is on the back or inside out (where zipper is still up the front)?

Do you remember the Etsy seller that you used? Were you happy with the quality/safety?

I know my sitter just put the zipper in the back for her ds and that worked fine. Luckily for me ds loves his "sack" and has never tried to unzip it!

In November she was 31.5". She may be a little taller now, she's always been 90% for height.

I have the 18 to 36 month size.

The grobags are long. We also turned them backwards but eventually they could pull the bottom part around to the front, unzip it partway and then get their legs free to climb out of the crib.

My DD is 36" and we have the 18-36m grobag. Still plenty of room at least another 4" or so.

I gave the wrong height before she was 33" in November. Sorry

Ok I was wrong again. She was 35.5" in November. I really don't know what's wrong with me but this one is correct. LOL

For those with grobags, should I get the 2.5 or 1.0 tog? Temp in DC's room is usually 68-70F.

1.0 TOG

I only use the 2.5 TOG when it gets below 65 in the room and that only happens of there's a cold spell of 35 and below for a few nights

DS is 38-39" and we have a 3-6yr grobag. He outgrew the 18-36 at least 6 mos ago. Unfortunately 3-6yr isn't carried in the US--DS had to get a pink one via eBay ;)

I rec the 1.0 tog, that's what we have had. FYI all of the Halo bags are rated 1.0.

ETA: If possible, I rec getting a jersey/knit grobag. The first one we had was a woven cotton (lined with jersey) and DS complained about it being binding/tight when it got twisted up. The jersey one is stretchier & comfier.
