can you fill a latex balloon with air from your mouth? or thru an air pump like the one used for a yoga ball? i need to blow balloons for my dds bday party for a few hours so nothing big and fancy? dont want to buy helium tank for it. ty

Sure, of course. I do it for every birthday. We usually buy a few helium balloons either as favors or to decorate the birthday kid's chair.

Yes, you can blow up regular latex balloons using just your mouth, but they will not float. Party stores usually sell helium filled latex balloons for not too much money. You need to pick them up fairly close to party time as they stop floating within twenty four hours or so, IME.

A festive, reusable, alternative is paper laterns.
