We need to repaint the outside of our house pretty badly. We meant to do it last year but for various reasons (money, time), it didn't happen. I'm committed to repainting this year, so first up is picking a color combo. My house is a brown/beige tract home from the 1960s. The door is red and I'd like to keep it some shade of red if not the same shade. Windows were updated in the 1980s and we're thinking of replacing them too to probably white trimmed but are flexible on that.
I'm leaning toward browns/tans/beiges again with white trim instead. I also love grays with white trim. But I think a red door goes better with browns?
Not sure where to start. We've never had the exterior of our house painted before. We have references for professional painters but need to choose colors. I feel like the exterior is a bigger deal because it's not just like a room that you can more easily repaint.
So here are photos of my house and door:

Hit me up with your favorite colors! We have access to most major brands, including Benjamin Moore, Kelly Moore, Sherwin Williams, Home Depot, Lowes, and even Dunn Edwards.
I should also add that it gets pretty hot where I live (100s in the summer) so I don't want to go too dark because of heat absorption and fading.
TIA!
