A strip of wallpaper the size of my hand tore off in the boy's room of our rental house. Since we have just moved out and are cleaning it up, I want the house to look ship-shape. I have the swatch that came off and if I can get it to stick really well, it should look fine. The wallpaper is a really busy pattern so I don't think it will even be noticeable- as long as the edges don't peel up.

Any suggestions besides more wallpaper glue? I'd have to make a special trip
for that.

I'd try using a glue stick. I've used them to repair board book which had gotten torn apart and they work well for that.

Elmers School Glue worked great; however, it doesn't remove very well. My DS sitting on the potty peeled my wallpaper. I was able to patch the pieces using the glue.

Is this a rental house you own or are you renting from someone? I couldn't quite tell.

If you own the house, I'd go with glue or whatever you want.

If you're renting the house from someone else, I think you need to either use wallpaper paste or fess up to the owner so they can repair it however they want.
