What else do you love from the Container Store besides the multipurpose bins? I'm on an organizing craze and am going to place an order before the sale is over, so I thought I'd see if there was anything else I should be looking at.

I really like our mesh shoe organizer: http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10010675&N=&Ns=p_sort_default%7C0&Ntt=mesh+shoe

I have it on a door in the mudroom. In the summer, it holds sunglasses, sun screen, etc. In the winter, it holds gloves, hats, scarves. It lets things dry because of the mesh and kids can see what is where.

Someone on the BBB recommended this:

http://www.containerstore.com/shop/office/paperFileStorage/sortersTrays?productId=10020391&N=74540&Ns=p_sort_default|0

We have it up in our kitchen, and it makes a HUGE difference in eliminating the piles of paper around our house. And we put all the cords for charging our electronic devices in the bottom pocket.

Do you happen to have a picture of how it works for you? I have a file for the fridge that is smaller and I kind of like it, but it's too small, so I wonder if this would work for us or not. I am looking for something for the school stuff, mostly. Daily folders, planners, homework. I was thinking 6 slots so each kid had 2.

It's not cheap, but I'm in love with my Elfa shelving. I redid my daughter's closet and my pantry with it - and it's made a world of difference! My girls share a room, and I'm able to keep all of their clothing in the closet, so we don't have a dresser in their room. Here is the thread (http://windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=405010&highlight=elfa)where I posted pics of their closet. I have since changed it up AGAIN - I moved the pull out bins up, added 2 more pull out bins, and added 2 shoe racks (one for each girl) on the bottom. It has really worked well for us so far - and I love the customizability of it.

I'm able to actually SEE what I have in my pantry, and keep everything organized. I posted pictures in a different thread of my pantry here (http://windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=423733&highlight=elfa).

If you can't go with a full Elfa system, then I HIGHLY recommend these (http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10016912&N=&Nao=20&Ns=p_sort_default%7C0&Ntt=door+rack) (I got them on during an Elfa sale). I love that you can mix and match the size of baskets you want to customize to your needs. I have them in my linen closet - I keep all the medications on the upper shelves, bandaids, wipes, supplies, etc on the lower shelves. I have 2 on my pantry doors (one on each door). And I have the wrapping paper one (http://www.containerstore.com/shop/giftPackaging/organizers?productId=10033837&N=72461&Ns=p_sort_default%7C0) (the one on the door in the picture - none of the other stuff) on my coat closet. Love these!

Another thing I recommend if you have the space - a rolling bin! We got a large one that I turned into an art supply bin. So it houses all my kids paints/colors/paint brushes/coloring books/paper/stencils/crayons/markers/scisoors/etc. LOVE it. It keeps it in one spot for them, they know where everything is, and it's not scattered all over my house! They have various styles, so you can go with whatever you like best. Something like this (http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10012555&N=&Nao=40&Ns=p_sort_default%7C0&Ntt=cart). Mine is very similar to this one (http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10014856&N=&Nao=40&Ns=p_sort_default%7C0&Ntt=cart) - but we don't have the top on it. Instead we have a dividing tray because that's where I keep the glue sticks, crayons, markers, pens/pencils, etc that area easily accessible.

I second the Elfa systems. Love them in our closets. I just looked at lhafer's pantry thread and am inspired - thinking that could be a great solution for us!

The accessory box - I must have bought 20 or so last year after hearing it recommended here, and still keep finding more uses for them for the kids' bits and pieces, toys, crayons, markers, stickers, etc etc etc. I need to buy more with my multipurpose bins order!

I need ideas too, but when does the sale end?

IIRC from the multi-purpose bin thread, it goes until March 24 or something like that.

Another vote for the mesh shoe organizer. I have it hanging on the inside of DD's closet and it's super easy to see what's in each pocket.

I also love the Elfa door rack & baskets. I have it hanging on the inside of our pantry and it's awesome for jars and rolls of paper towels.

I recommended their huge lazy susan in the Bargains thread, if you have lower blind corner cabinets. It's AWESOME. Here's my post with pics: http://windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=3730556&postcount=27

Other things I love from TCS:
-- Small Clear Handled Baskets: I have several of these in my cupboards and pantry. It does a great job of corraling sippy cup parts and my cupcake baking supplies. I can pull out the entire basket on the counter and find what I want.
http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10022155&N

-- Medium Stacking Bins: I have 4 of these in my pantry. One for TJ crushers, one for applesauce pouches, one for organic gummy snacks, and one for orange fruit cups (all food for DD, lol!). I love that I can utilize vertical space on the shelf and that I don't have to keep items in their cardboard boxes. Easy to see everything and easy to access.

-- Narrow Deep Fridge Binz: A recent find, but I LOVE this for DD's applesauce pouches in the fridge.
http://www.containerstore.com/shop/kitchen/refrigeratorFreezer?productId=10027634&N

-- Animal Toothbrush Holder: Love this for storing DD's toothbrush; it effortlessly snaps out and snaps back in one-handed.
http://www.containerstore.com/shop/bath/hooks/suctionCupHooks?productId=10026181&N=71920

-- Small Screwdriver: My favorite new mommy tool that you didn't know you needed. I keep ours in our junk drawer for easy access when toy batteries need replacing.
http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10031228&N

-- Medium Hinged Box: A gem of a find. I had random gift cards/store merchandise cards that were cluttering up my wallet. This size box is a PERFECT fit for all of my extra plastic cards. Seems super sturdy and is inexpensive.

I didn't get mine at the Container Store, but I have these battery boxes for AA and AAA batteries. I keep most batteries upstairs in the linen closet, but like to keep some in my car and some in the kitchen and this works well.

I think I need those! Where did you get them? I am in MI like you with no container store.

I have something similar that I got at Walmart for $7. It's larger, and is actually a jewelry/bead organizer. Love it.

Second the Lazy Susan idea. I have them in the deep corners of my pantry, and so functional. Also put laundry stuff on the way to deep counter over my washer/dryer. I think I have about 6 now. :)

Also love the small sink drainer mat
http://www.containerstore.com/shop/kitchen/sinkArea/drainers?productId=10031891&N=74099&Ns=p_sort_default%7C0
I hate the look of a dish drainer, but needed some where to put all DS's bottles after I wash them to dry. Not as cute as the Boon grass mat, but way more functional and elegant.
