I think these were originally $44.99, then reduced to $29.97, and now reduced to an even better $19.97. Shipping is free.

The luggage typically retails for about $39.99 and the saddlebag $19.99.

In case anyone is on the fence about buying i wanted to chime in about how much we loved this product. I paid more years ago but it was with every penny when my son could roll through the airport with out me having to carry him or hold his hand and all our bags. I wish I had known about for my first two.

Does anyone know if this can work as a carry on or does it need to be checked?

We always carried ours on. My son rode it on the jetway to the plane door.

We have a couple trips this year, but only one flight. I'm trying to decide whether to get these and if so, how many. Do they hold much? What age are these best for? DC are 7.5, 5.5, and almost 3. Should the older 2 get this or use a backpack...?

We usually pack DH and I in a large duffel, and then the kids in a medium duffel. Not sure if I want to add luggage or not...We might need to add 1 more in the near future as the boys get older, but I'm not sure if this is the right stuff. Great prices though...maybe I'll order and return if not what I want...

This is for little guys. It would hold most of what my son wore for a seven day vacation. He loved having his own suitcase and he literally rode it through the airport.

Snort. Poor kids must be glad when the flight is over. ;)

Thanks OP! The reviews are mixed in Amazon, I ordered one because we're going in a trip later this year and DD1 always complains her backpack is too heavy, and her legs are tired so this will be perfect for the airport. Even with the negative reviews they all said M&D replaced the product. Seems worth the $20.

I have these for my 4 year old and 1 yr old and it's great. Super cute and really easy for the kids to pull themselves. I wish they were this cheap when I got them

It doesn't hold too much IMO so I used it to pack some clothes but mostly toys

Thank you OP! DS was obsessed with my mom's pull carry-on at Xmas, and we're headed on a trip this weekend. If it doesn't come for the weekend it will be a great bday present from grandma when my parents come in a month.

Looks like they're all gone -- not showing up via search at Costco.com any more.

These were decent until Melissa and Doug took over making them for the U.S. market. Now they are junk. We used it twice on trips and both times the wheel popped off in the airport causing us to have to chase it and crawl under stuff to get it and then to unpack to put it back on. They are junk. For $19.99 they are not bad I guess but don't expect to be able to ride them.

total waste of money, in my opinion.

I don't know if the original good quality European versions are still available, but they might be worth tracking down if you really want this concept.

Would M&D replace if its defective like this?

Yes, M&D has great customer service but you would still be stuck with a broken suitcase that you would have to lug around the airport and a child wining because their toy was broken, doesn't sound fun to me.

search the Lounge for threads about the Trunki and reviews. They were pretty much all like this.
