I almost got a pair 2 springs ago (low tops, prob black or navy), but decided to get a gray Coach s sneakers from Marshalls. On the lookout for a new pair, I like the new Hi Ness (with a small wedge). For casual days, trips to playground, zoo or errands. With dark denim and tees, maybe a blazer. Too much for a 34 yo mom lol?

I went through a phase of reading fashion books a few years back, and I distinctly remember that both The Pocket Stylist (http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Stylist-Behind---Scenes-Expertise/dp/1592400418/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1362430380&sr=1-4&keywords=pocket+guide+to+fashion) and Kate Spade's Style book both said that black and white converse never go out of style.

But I now wear Croc knocks-offs (http://www.crocs.com/crocs-hover-lace-up/11366,default,pd.html) for comfort's sake.

Yep. And keds. And neon green tretorns. And sperry topsiders. Shoes are one of the few places that I don't worry about whether I am too old for something:)

If they weren't so uncomfortable, I'd wear them. I'm almost 40.

I am 41 and have a pair of white ones. My parents and DH make fun of me in them. I love them. I don't wear them often maybe once a month. I don't like to get them muddy.

I have two pair of Converse (red and yellow) and a pair of Tretorn Kate Spade black and white florals. Great shoe for moms on the go.

Well, I'm 43 and I have a pair of grey low top Converse that I wear all the time and a pair of red hi-top Converse that I wear occasionally. But then again I also wear Green Adidas Gazelles (http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://artisticthings.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/green_gazelle_med.jpg&imgrefurl=http://artisticthings.com/the-timeless-classic/&h=360&w=450&sz=57&tbnid=286Zpb12zCMyPM:&tbnh=91&tbnw=114&zoom=1&usg=__4dkLaiemBg9r9d1E1i0-qvws6ZQ=&docid=KC--bUkY_bwj5M&sa=X&ei=LEM1Uam3IoqDqQHp34DQCg&ved=0CHAQ9QEwAQ&dur=245) on a regular basis.

I wish I could wear them :) I tried on a pair last spring and my size 10 feet looked like goofy feet sticking out from my pants!!

That's me too. Size 10 feet and felt like Bozo in them. Love them on others though!

Add me to the list of people who love them! I've got my eye on a pair of high top converse to wear with skinny jeans :)

I rock a pair of black ones with pink laces at age 43.

I love them, but they don't love me - my feet are wide & I'm a pronator, so they cause me more problems than the purchase price is worth. (I don't know that age makes a difference, but I'll be 35 this month and have always had this issue.)

I want to get another pair. The last pair I had were when I was in my 20s. I saw this kelly green pair at Nordstrom Rack, but they didn't have my size, but now I want to find another pair. I have a large wide foot as well and I overpronate (only when running, at least that I notice), but I never had a problem with the Converse the last time I had some.

I will be 36 in June.

I'm 35 and wear my Chucks (B&W high tops only!!!! I had about a dozen highs and lows in various colors in high school, but I'm sticking with the classics as an adult) at least once a week. And I never wash them, because they wouldn't look as cool. Where I come from, only posers have clean Chucks. ;)

I :heartbeat: Jack Purcells! I'm going to have to look for the eggplant ones, those sound awesome. PPs, you might try the Jack Purcells if Chucks are uncomfortable, much better arch support.

I have to take back what I said! I just found the converse style "dainty" which is a less clunky, more slimmed down version and my size ten feet do not look like clown feet. Love them! :)

I don't. Not enough tread or support for someone with problem feet. I don't even get them for my kids for that reason, but I would if they ask!
