Help me find a dress for DD's First Communion

I have been looking for a new dress for DD's First Communion, and I hope to wear it for Easter as well (if I find it in time, that is). I tried the following from Banana Republic and while I liked it, it just seemed too dark and wintery for spring "events".

I'm very pear shaped, so I generally avoid sheath-type dresses because they just don't work. I have to look for more fit-and-flare type styles. Has anyone seen or tried anything spring-y that they would be cute and appropriate?

It does seem they are showing a lot of sheath-style dresses this spring.

I ended up getting this dress in Ink Spot for First Communion (with cardi and nude pumps) and a wedding (with blingy accessories). I was worried it would be too wintery since it's from Boden's winter line. but everyone assured me it was good for spring/early summer. The fabric is lightweight silk so I think that helps, too.

I think that Banana dress you posted, OP, isn't to dark. The print is a bight blue not subdued/dark navy, kwim?

Too funny, ilfaith....I eyed that same Loft dress online. I'll have to check it out.

Twoboos, the BR dress ended up being darker than I expected in person, and combined with the long-ish sleeves, I just felt wintery. I like the Boden dress you have- I checked it out when you originally posted it, but sadly my size is out of stock. Maybe I need to stalk their site and hope for replens.
