Looking for something to corral my items in a neat way. I found this: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=120640&RN=2461&

Does anyone use anything else that is a bit cheaper? This is more of a want and not a need, so I feel bad spending the $. Of course they always have coupons, so that is not bad !

eta - need something that is tall enough to store Xtra lotion bottles (8 oz) and massage oil bottle; most other items are all small - travel size.

THANKS!

I'm using multi purpose bins from the container store. They are great for tall items. I use the skinnier bins for smaller items.

I am fond of these bins for underneath sinks. I tried the multipurpose bins but they were too tall for my sinks. These Sterilite bins slide underneath the pipes. They come in a variety of sizes and I have some of each size.

I use these Sterilite "Show Offs" for short items (neti pot & salt, razors, bath bombes, etc.) and band-aids/first aid supplies:

http://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-ShowOffs-Storage-Container-6-Pack/dp/B006SOJJBI/ref=sr_1_17?s=storageorganization&ie=UTF8&qid=1363098029&sr=1-17&keywords=sterilite+tote

And these Sterilite "Show Offs" for tall items (spray cleansers, shampoo, soap refills, etc.) and my maxi pads/tampons:

http://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-Large-ShowOffs-Storage-Container/dp/B000HM8BSO/ref=pd_sim_hg_2

I have enough room in the vanity cabinets to keep one short stacked on one tall on each side of the pipes.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I just put our stuff into the cabinets without any sort of container. Well, I take that back.... I do have two computer paper box lids holding things (extra razors, shampoo, ect). You guys' under sink cabinets sound nice! I'm inspired!

If you watch several of her videos, you'll notice that's a theme: she doesn't seem to mention product names and their sources very often. My guess is that she somehow has an affiliate link, so you *have* to click on the link to figure out what it is/where to get it from. Most of the time I recognize her products anyway, especially if they're from The Container Store! :wink2:

I use this too. One has my hair dryer. Another has extra shampoo, body soap, toothpaste. It's worked out great.

Touch base when you're done. I'll try and post pictures. :) It always helps other people when they're trying to figure out how it would look.

Has anyone finished their cabinet yet? I missed out on the sale but am considering doing this in my bathroom. I'd love to see it in action with real world people first :)

The container store bins did not work for me, but I found these instead.

Hopefully this picture is going through. These are Sterilite bins (bought from Wal) - top one is small, bottom one is the medium sized.

I got 2 medium, 1 small. I may / may not label them, since you can see what's in them. Each drawer has something different: deodorant, lotions, toothpaste, toothbrushes etc.

Hope this helps!

I was wondering that, too.

What did you not like about the Container Store bins, PMJ?

Well, call me silly....but the bins on the bottom that had stuff inside them, were hard to reach the back of the bin. This was when I stacked them of course. I like the drawer aspect better for me, b/c I feel like I am getting the full use of the drawer and can pull out and see everything I need.

Just a personal preference for sure.
