Do you/would you wear your eternity band every day?

DH gave me the most beautiful eternity band for our anniversary. It's a total of 4 carats with diamonds going all around. I always imagined replacing my wedding ring and wearing the eternity band all the time, but it just seems out of place with my casual SAHM attire. If I save it for special occasions, it'll never get worn because we don't go to too many functions.

What do you/would you do?

I found my mine uncomfortable with diamonds all around. It hurt my finger. Honestly, most days I forget to put jewelry on (including earrings and my mother said a lady never went out without earrings).
I end up wearing my claddaugh ring most days or simple wedding band.

I would wear just wear it!
My regular wedding band is diamonds all the way around and I keep it on all the time. The diamonds are really small though, so it is not uncomfortable.

This post written by a SAHM with a left hand wearing an eternity band instead of a wedding band. ;) Like you said, if I waited for special occasions, I'd never wear it (just like having nice dishes you don't use...I think it would be a waste.)

It is beautiful. But, and this is just me, from a comfort thing not a style thing, I couldn't wear it every day because it would drive me nuts. I could do a channel setting but not something where the stones stick out all the way around. That said, if you find the ring comfortable, then by all means wear it because it is a lovely ring.

I'm glad you're going to wear it. I'm a very simple person, and I wear no other jewelry on a regular basis, but I wear my engagement ring and eternity band (which is actually my wedding band) every day.

I wear an eternity band I inherited from my grandmother on my left hand along with my wedding and engagement rings every.single.day.

The stones on your eternity band look pretty big. As long as it's comfy, I'd wear it every day. The more you wear it, the more cozy it becomes.

:yeahthat: Mine was a 10 yr anniversary gift as well. I asked for a simple band with no stones because I really wanted something comfortable to wear everyday instead of my engagement/wedding set. Instead DH got me an eternity band with channel set diamonds. I think mine is really comfortable because the diamonds are channel set so I can't feel the edges. I wear it all the time and rarely take it off.
