No more Google Reader

Google Reader is being discontinued as of July. :(

Is there a similar alternative? Or, hopefully, something even better? Google Reader has streamlined my online reading so much. I have no desire to go back to looking up each page individually!

I just spent 15 minutes looking for good replacements. To date, the answer seems to be 'not yet'. As the article alludes to, however, Feedly may be it. Will be watching - can't imagine not having a feed reader that works on my laptop, Kindle and phone.

That is a true travesty. I better write down which ones I follow because it is so brainless to just open my google reader. Can we petition them to keep it?

Oh no! I use Google Reader on my laptop, and the Feedly app on my iPad. I really like it. I'll have to see if there is Feedly for PC computers.
