I am looking for something to put on the wall so that each kid has a spot for school things - everyday folder, planner, library books, etc. I have the Fridge File (http://www.organizedatoz.com/Fridge-File-Power-Pockets-p/274.htm)and it works well for paper. We keep current homework in it. But, folders are too heavy and library books are to big.

I'm debating where to put them. On the wall next to the fridge would have vertical space for them. We walk through that path a lot at dinner time since it's between the kitchen and dining room. Or, in the small hall by the bath, which is horizontal space. It's a higher traffic area, and seen by anyone coming into the house, but it's a wider aisle. So, I'm not sure if I want something connected or separate or what. I need 3 of them.

I'm open to other ideas if you have something that works for you! Pictures would be great :)

What about those "spice racks" from IKEA?

I'm afraid the planner and folder would slide through the front or flop over the top. The planner doesn't really stand on its own as it's just paper and it very curled from backpack storage :)

Those might be good. I could find a way to personalize them for each kid maybe.

thanks both!
