Success at the pharmacy, lol

We ran out of DD's ADHD medication yesterday (oops!). Went to the pharmacy this evening, where the following exchange occurred:

Pharmacist: "it will be over a half hour until this is ready."

Me: "that's okay, take your time! I'll be walking around your store with an unmediated ADHD kid until its ready!"

The success? Thanks to my humor, that prescription bottle was in our hands in 15 minutes. Quickest prescription fill I have ever had!

I should have used this at the pharmacy when I went to get my Zofran filled when I was pregnant with DD.

Instead I waited for almost an hour and then asked them about the progress and they dug through the "done" pile and found it on the bottom, apparently it had been ready for quite some time.

Next time I should just threaten to puke in the store on the floor.

I've had some problems getting things filled at our local FM. One time, they only filled half of the prescription. Another time, it took them 4-5 days and 4-5 trips of checking in with them. you know "we'll have this for you tomorrow"- go tomorrow, nope, we had to order the drugs it'll be here the next day and so on.

Good come back! Glad you got your DD's meds!
