mens dress socks - where to buy fun, good quality? or other men's gift ideas

So, in light of my dh's purchase for me (tria laser), I'm feeling compelled to at least somewhat reciprocate. Thing is, I don't ever feel okay spending >$50 on a single item without touching base with him. I'm not on a budget, it's just my own mental restraints. (otherwise, I'd buy the world and then we would be broke!)

So, I'm looking for gift for DH and the only thing I can think of that he's mentioned is socks. lol!

He wears suits to work everyday, so he likes to have fun with his socks a bit. (It would be nice if he had fun with ties; those are a lot more common!)

Where to get fun prints, yet good quality socks? The only band I can think of that he's mentioned to me is something along the lines of happy toes, happy feet or happy sox... something like that.

Other ideas are also welcome!

I got DH some cashmere socks a few years ago and they are by far his favorites! I haven't seen them in fun colors or patterns though.

I totally enjoy the Kardashians. lol! At one point, I had DH look at Rob's socks online with me and he didn't like them. I don't rememeber if they were too plain, not the right cotton mix or if they weren't tall enough to cover his calf.
DH is just too pikcy! ;)

DH wears only funky socks. Most of his are from Next Direct. They don't hold their shape as well as his Boden socks but they have a much better selection/price.
