In my quest to stumble on cruelty free diamonds, I found these manufactured grown in a lab diamonds. Anyone have an opinion or know about these?

I think my best best is probably to find a used ring, but we don't live in a big town with lots of shopping options.

So these are just simulated/manufactured stones meant to look like a diamond? If so then no way would I spend that much on something that wasn't actually a diamond. You'd be better off doing pre owned or trying Diamonique through QVC. I have a real diamond wedding set done in platinum and it doesn't fit (1 size away!) and it's crazy expensive to size Platinum so I bought a cheap place holder. I actually have 3 different fake options and the Diamonique looks the most real. Also the smaller the stone the more real it will look. If you're looking for simulated cheaper options you could also check HSN - they have an "absolute" brand that is simulated. One tell tell giveaway of a fake stone is the prong settings.

I have no knowledge of how good this company is but they sell conflict free diamonds and lab created diamonds and have some good info.

I have a couple of pieces of diamonique jewelry from QVC. The quality is great for the price but they don't compare to my diamond.

My assistant recently ordered her engagement ring from the website you linked. I wasn't terribly impressed with it. She returned it because it was ridiculously big and choose one we're hoping is smaller.

Reader check out pricescope.com forums. Experts there can point you to some reputable resources for used stones or complete used rings. Also educate yourself about how to evaluate a diamond using the tools there which can help you know if a stone is worth taking a look in person. I purchased a replacement engagement ring about 2 years ago and pricescope was invaluable in helping me throughout the process (and I thought I knew plenty about diamonds ahead of time).
