There's a Sip & See tomorrow for a friendly acquaintance. I don't know her all that well, but we're friendly through school/PTA stuff and I think I'll be working with her on a PTA project next year. She just had her 4th son.

The event is tomorrow afternoon and I need to find a gift. I have access to Target, TRU, a local toy store that probably has some infant items and other standard suburban stores.

What would you like to receive to celebrate the arrival of your 4th son? (I think that she gave away most of her baby stuff. The 3rd son is either 4- or 5-years old.) DS4 is almost 2 months old right now.

Any ideas?

Not sure how much you want to spend but a Sophie giraffe is a cute, trendy gift that was not around/popular when her 5 year old was a baby so it's something that would be a safe bet. It's around $20 at TRU.

A&A blankets, even the ones from Target are nice to give as gifts!

Did you check to see if she is registered? Diapers are always needed and appreciated.

This is the first thing that popped into my mind, too. I loved the ones we bought for Dolly, and price wise they were a splurge for me.

Bigger bibs, Gerber Bunch of Bowls (my girls still use these and they are almost 7, and 3), and Take N Toss flatware or the Take N Toss cups and bowls set. All can be used by her older kids as well.

I'm heading to BRU shortly. I'll be looking for A&A blankets and something-Sophie-related. (I have another baby gift to purchase, too, that I totally forgot about!)

As far as the A&A blankets go, which type am I looking for? I see some that say "Swaddle Wraps" and others that say "Muslin Swaddles". Are they all the same thing or are there differences?

Yes look for Muslin Swaddles, but they are $40 for 3 of them, I think. I don't know if that is too much or not. I believe there are different sizes and materials. I ordered mine from Amazon.
