My friend, an anthro fiend, swears up and down that TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Marshalls carry a lot of the aprons that Anthropologie does. She said she's gotten some of their wares (cups, mugs, candleholders) that A sells there, too. I would look there, too, if you have a style in mind.

We got DD a Jessica Steele apron from (as seen on SITC). She's in LURVE with it. ;)

I found an exact shirt with a different tag at Stein Mart for $25, it was around $68 at anthro if I remember correctly.

I looked at Marshalls yesterday, and there were some cuuuute aprons. 9.99-12.99.
Not sure if they were Anthro, as I'm not familiar w/all their apron styles
