That's a great deal. I gave envirosax as teacher and daycare gifts for xmas. Each person got a bag and a small GC to Wegmans.

Awesome! Thanks OP, I just got some for DD's teachers.

Ooh, teacher's gifts are a good idea, esp. at this price! This is my first year w/ a kid in grade school, is it normal to give end of year gifts to a kindy teacher and aide? I think the teacher is retiring after this year as well.

Thank you so much! I've always wanted to try these but they're so pricey. I decided to finally try it with the $5 off, and discovered I had $10 in rewards! :yay:

Thank you so much, OP! :waving4: I've had a set of these bags for about 4 years now, and I love them- use them every time I go grocery shopping!
Got a set for DD's preschool teachers, to go along with Target gift cards, for end-of-the-year gifts.

It's sold out

It originally looked that way to me, too, but it's only certain patterns that are sold out! I just checked, they're still in stock!

Thanks! I wanted to get a bright pattern (cherries) so I can easily find it in my bag, had $5 in deal bucks (have no idea how I got this) and used the $5 off promo code and with tax (8%) came out to $9.40, what a great deal!

I'm so tempted but I already have a couple.

I wish it came with a pouch to carry it all in. It's so messy in my purse to throw them in. What are you guys doing?

I looked at the envirosax website and although it only cost $1.95 for the pouch, it's $6 for shipping :(

I have a bag of bags in my car, so I just keep one in my purse for random stops and then before I go on a known shopping trip I toss a few more in my purse.

I keep mine in JJB Be Quicks. One set for groceries, one set for clothing/non-drippy shopping.

The Be Quick (http://www.amazon.com/Ju-Ju-Be-Quick-Pouch-Sea-Glass/dp/B0076V19SS/) is a good option, as a PP suggested. I keep mine in a JJ Cole wipes pod (http://www.amazon.com/JJ-Cole-Diapers-Wipes-Mixed/dp/B005G37VXA/). A large pencil pouch or cosmetic bag might work too.

I've never even looked at these bags before but somehow I found myself in for a set of the cherry print! No plastic bags allowed where we live, so we use reusable bags daily. They will certainly be used. Thanks!

Thanks for this deal!!! I've been looking to replace my reusable grocery bags. They're all threadbare! These will be perfect, I think! I might get another set for teacher gifts, too.

When I entered the BESTOF promotion code, it says that it has expired. Do you have the same problem?

I just checked my email (LS sent out an email with the code) and the code expired yesterday.

Has anyone's order shipped yet? I ordered a week ago and it still shows as not having shipped. Is Living Social always this slow?

Update: my order arrived today as well! It was shipped from a personal address/sender in San Diego; I had assumed it would come from Living Social or a business address. The Cherry Lane prints are really pretty (especially the bikes!).

I'm still a little puzzled by the hype over these bags. I paid just under $15 for 4 shipped, or about $3.50 a bag. Reusable bags at my grocery store are about 99 cents-$1.99 each (yes, even the thick plastic coated, nicely designed ones like at WF). So what's so special about these bags that make paying twice as much a steal, and most people pay close to $10 a bag? What do you use them for other than groceries? I think I will use ours for swim lessons as well as groceries (no plastic bags and a charge for paper bags here). I'm sure they'll get put to good use, but I'm puzzling over the appeal at full price. Thanks again to the OP for the heads-up!

I like that they fold up compactly and are machine-washable. The cute prints help too! ;) They're lightweight and strong. I can comfortably carry one over my shoulder. I'm a huge fan.

:yeahthat:

One or two fit (rolled up and snapped) in the cupholder pockets of all my bags. They hold a TON. I've been using mine for about 5 years, and they are still as good as new, even with occasional washing. I think I posted above that I keep one set (solid colors) for groceries, and another set of prints for clothing/non-food. I can fit 5 to 7 bags in one Be Quick (also solid and print, because I'm a geeky matcher). I keep each Be Quick in the door storage in my car. My husband has his big grocery-store bags folded or unfolded in the back of his car. Folded, each one is bigger than my hand. Too impractical for me!
