Registry at BuyBuyBaby even though not near store?

So it seems like everyone likes the BuyBuyBaby registry best as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, the closest store is about an hour away from me - but it just so happens to be where most of my gift-buyers live. Do you think it will be an issue not living right near the store in case of returns and whatnot? I like the idea of only registering at one place, and had a great experience with my bridal registry at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I figured that since we visit my in-laws who live near the store about every other month or so, so I can return big things at that point and ship back any little things.

Anyone think this is a terrible idea?
