One more appliance question...with a poll

The builder did stainless steel appliances when we built our house. We had black appliances in our other house, and I liked them just fine. The stainless steel is alright, not my favorite as it smudges easily and I can't use magnets on the frig - I have to tape pictures, pieces of paper, etc. So that's annoying.

We will be getting a new frig. Below are pictures of my kitchen. My appliances currently are SS with black accents. So would it be weird if I did a black frig? I will probably getting a French door model frig. My kitchen is very open to our living room, and the refrigerator faces the living room - so it's very visible.

I'm with you, OP, I hate living with stainless appliances. Go with what you like best. However, if you go with the black fridge, I would plan on replacing the others to match before selling the house.
