Glo or Zoom Whitening?

I am getting some dental work done and want to get my teeth whitened. My dentist suggested zoom whitening (I believe it is $400); however, I am a little concerned after reading some of the reviews (i.e. pain). My orthodontist thinks my dentist would do a good job, and my dentist says he hasn't had experiences like people have posted (not about him, just the product). On Sephora I noticed there is a product called Glo and it gets good reviews, especially vs Zoom. It is also cheaper and has refills. I am considering getting it while it is on sale, but I can't use it for another month or so.

So has anyone had good or bad experiences with either product? Thanks.
