Someone here posted a link to how much photoshopping goes on in magazines and it is so interesting. The extent that things are photoshopped is astonishing. Also, there is a picture of the supermodels from the 90s (Elle Macpherson, Rachel Hunter, and Kathy Ireland) on the cover of Sports Illustrated and they look so different from the current models on the swimsuit issue of SI.

I wonder if they are using the dimensions from the older Barbie or the new Barbie body (http://www.feministfatale.com/2011/01/this-image-speaks-for-itself/) that came out in the 2000's. I think they are using the older body.

Anyhow, I love the Pinterest board. I had my girls come and we talked about a lot of the pins and then I showed them some examples of stupid poses and how extra stupid they look like when you have guys making them (That is my rule. If a guy looks dumb doing it, it is a dumb pose).
