Does sugar expire? Keep or toss?

I just unpacked 3 boxes of sugar cubes that must have been in storage since before we moved to our rental house 2.5 yrs ago. They don't smell, there is no expiration date and they are unopened. But maybe they go bad in some not-immediately-noticeable way?

Would you use them in your tea or coffee or toss?

I can't imagine any way that sugar can go bad other than with bugs. So I'm thinking if it's been sealed up, no problem! I'd use it.

Use! Doesn't go bad. Might harden, but even that can be fixed. It won't affect taste or quality.

Agree that it's fine, but if you don't want to eat them, you could let the kids make sugar cube houses or igloos with them.
