Anyone have clips or combs made by them? Wondering if they are worth the price. They look lovely. www.franceluxe.com

I have in the past. I am growing my hair now, past shoulder length and felt the need for hair ornaments. I discovered the fraceluxe site due to a featured item in lucky and finally placed a considerable order last week for a variety of items. I think the box arrived yesterday, so I will check it out and let you know!

I have two of the classic rectangular barettes: http://www.franceluxe.com/pc/3129B/classicBarrettes/index.html

I got mine at Nordstrom. They have held up much longer than any other barettes that I've purchased from drugstores, etc. I had no idea this company made so many other styles, though – I may have to invest in a few more after seeing their website :)

:yeahthat: except that I have just one. I used that Nordy's email GC and got one for $10. It's amazing. I'd love another style too!

They came nicely individually wrapped in paper, not plastic. I bought mostly sale items as I was not sure if I was familiar with the brand or not. I wore this jaw clip this morning to the gym and it worked perfectly to hold my thick hair up.

It feels so sturdy compared to a recent other brand purchase. I did buy something similar (goody? walgreens?) a few weeks ago and it just was not working. Maybe this pm I can finish unwrapping and post a picture.

Favorite fun item: http://www.franceluxe.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=FL&Product_Code=LI3657&Category_Code=
Favorite item overall is the jaw clip in my previous post.
I will post a picture in the next few minutes.
Skinny hairband (orange) was a bit tight, and kind of thick(would not work if I'm wearing glasses) so may exchange
Wide beige headband, I would use at gym, was okay, not "tested" yet, pretty stretchy, has seams
Haven't tried the ponytails yet, absolutely love the color combos on the jeweled ponies
Bought plain black ones too (not on sale) but haven't tried them yet either
As for the flower print jaw clips, they feel sturdy too, but probably better for fine hair (weren't listed that way like some other clips), thinking about exchanging them if the process isn't too painful

Overall, I'm happy and I would say try it out.

I didn't buy any barrettes this time a around, and haven't worn barrettes in years.

For every three items you buy, you get a "free" item.
Oh and I really liked my free items, they were very nice, including the clip thing with rhinestones on it, and the beaded ponies.
