I don't meet the minimum dollar amount to leave my 401k with my previous employer and now I need to get an IRA account. It's only $2500 (I'm not rolling over the other two 401k/403b accounts I have at this time) so it needs to have no minimum balance requirement, minimal/no fees, etc.

Any recommendations? I'm getting overwhelmed when I try to google for options.

I have mine with Edward Jones. They are not bad (the original guy walked around my parents' neighborhood, lower middle class, blue collar, to drum up business for himself). There's a yearly fee of $15 on the trad IRA and $30 on the Roth IRA.

DH's is with our local credit union. I think he has less fees then me but I'm not sure.

I have an IRA with ETrade. No or low fees (depending on what you invest in) and I like that I can follow everything easily online.
