I am the matron of honor at a wedding this weekend. I was just going over the something old, something new thing with the bride and we are missing something borrowed. I was thinking she could borrow a handkerchief from me since I KNOW she will cry. Problem is I don't have one and I need it by Friday. Where do I source one of these locally? I am in North DFW if that helps.

Thank you!

I bought my mom & MIL each a handkerchief from a bridal shop. Start there?

I don't know that they sell women's hankies anymore, by and large. I collect vintage ones and always have one on me, a practice I learned from my grandmother. ;)

Target, Men's section, with the wallets and belts. IT will be a men's handkerchief though.

JC Penny's carries them. (I personally think way over priced).

I'd call local lingerie or bridal stores to see if they have anything.

I see vintage hankies at antique shops for $0.50 or $1.00. I have a huge box of my grandmother's old hankies I would loan you if you were closer.

Thank you for this idea! I am standing in my local antique mall and found one. I wish it was the $.50 or $1.00 that you see but I guess in Plano, TX that $3.50 isn't too bad of a deal. :)

You all rock with quick responses!

I collect the ones with blue embroidery and give them to brides as engagement gifts. Bonus points if I find one with the right initials. I give them away because I am on restriction :bag and DH has strongly expressed his feelings that I have enough vintage hankies. Although if a gal has to have a vice, it is a pretty harmless one. :)

I saw some you would have loved then! I skipped the blue because she is wearing a pair of hanky panky underwear with "Mrs." in blue rhinestones so I didn't need to meet that requirement. :)
